We do reviews for active duty and reserve service members. Membership in the Association is required for this service.

Do I have time to get a Record Review done?
Applications are accepted up to 30 days before officer board convening dates. We will make every attempt to obtain the record and complete before the board convenes.
Photos are now required for all Officers in the Official Military Personnel File maintained on the Electronic Military Personnel Records System
Record Review
The Record Review best prepares your record for
- Statutory Promotion Boards
- Administrative Command Screening Boards
- Command - Non Command (Apply) Board
- Officer Commissioning Programs
- E7/8/9 Selection Boards
This eight to ten page report provides a complete analysis of your record to make the best possible board presentation. The review includes all items in the Record Audit above plus the following:
- Complete audit to identify missing or unreadable documents important to the board
- Recommendations for corrective action
- Annotated Performance Summary Record
- E-mail and or phone contact with reviewer for discussion of the review
Both the completed Review and Audit include your CD Record, OSR/ESR/PSR and Fitness Report Continuity Report.
Time Constraints
We order your CD Record from Navy Personnel Command (NPC). We typically receive your record in ten to fifteen days. Your review is usually completed within ten days after receipt of your CD from NPC. We keep you advised by email regarding the progress of your order.
Application
To request a Record Review, complete and sign the application (NPC requires your signature). Mail or fax the form (email OK if signature on form to record.review@ausn.org) to AUSN Headquarters with fee for service desired.
