It's the end of an era for U.S. Navy carriers. The USS Enterprise was on hand for the Soviet blockade during the Cuban missile crisis. She flew thousands of sorties during the Vietnam War. And was one of the first on scene during Operation Enduring Freedom. She is now headed off for one last set of missions in Europe and the Middle East.
