VA 75.Different_answers

This picture highlights the ongoing half century commemoration of America’s efforts to defend South Vietnam against Communist aggression and naval aviation’s role in that effort with this image of an A-6 Intruder of VA-75 having its bomb load muscled into place. VA-75 made several deployments to Yankee Station beginning with the Independence in 1965, the Kitty Hawk in late 1967-1968 and on Saratoga from mid-1972 into 1973. Special thanks to the Naval Historical Foundation for providing Navy Magazine with this picture.
