Blue Water Navy Legislation Heads To President’s Desk
With the Senate passage of the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act on June 12, the legislation will now head to President Trump’s desk. The bill was passed unanimously by both the House and the Senate. There is no indication yet of when the president may sign it, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in an enrollment ceremony at the Capitol on June 18 that she was sending it to him immediately and “within 24 hours this could be the law of the land.”
‘Navy Now’ Webinars Are Coming To AUSN

Speaker Pelosi Signs HR 299, Gives Pen To AUSN
“House Speaker Nancy Pelosi signed HR 299 – the Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Act – on Tuesday after it was unanimously passed by both the House and the Senate, and she gave one of the pens used to sign the bill to AUSN, one of several veterans organizations who stood behind her for the ceremony.
