AUSN Message June 2025: Support and Solidarity for Military Families

In times of uncertainty and deployment, the families of our Navy, Coast Guard and Marine Corps members often face emotional challenges that can be difficult to navigate alone. “As executive director of the Association of the United States Navy (AUSN), I want to reassure and support those who are worried about their loved ones serving in the Middle East and around the world,” says AUSN Executive Director Steve Rogers.

Understanding the Emotional Journey of Military Families

Many military families experience restless nights filled with worry, anxiety and emotional ups and downs. These feelings are natural and shared by all who have served or are currently serving during difficult times in our nation’s history. Whether you are a spouse, parent, sibling, daughter, son or close friend, the emotional toll of deployment can be heavy.

It is important to remember these feelings are valid, and you are not alone in facing them.

AUSN Is Here for You

At AUSN, our mission extends beyond supporting the servicemembers themselves—we are deeply committed to standing with their families. If you need someone who truly understands your experience, we encourage you to reach out. Whether you want to talk about your concerns, share your feelings, or simply connect with another military family member, we are ready to listen.
