Patriotism Award
AUSN’s Patriotism Awards recognize nominated NROTC, NJROTC, and Sea Cadets of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps (high school level) students who demonstrate honor, courage and commitment. They must be nominated by their commanding officer or their unit instructor.
Recipients receive a medal authorized by the Navy to be worn on their uniforms and an AUSN certificate. ​

The awards package will be sent to the person listed under Sponsor Information.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing/shipment; sometimes weather affects the delivery schedule.​

We normally ship via UPS, with a signature required, as that lets us know the package arrived. UPS delivers during the day and evening hours, so if your school is closed during some of those hours, please check the “no signature” box. If multiple deliveries are required due to needing a signature, it may slow down the delivery. On the form, please check one of the two boxes:

ATTENTION:
Due to a shortage of the custom fabric required for the AUSN Patriotism Awards that won’t be resolved for several months, for the 2025 awards AUSN will mail a certificate and letter from the AUSN Executive Director to be presented at your ceremony.

When the awards are received from the manufacturer, AUSN will send them directly to your AUSN Patriotism Award honoree, as they may or may not still be at your location.

Therefore, on the Patriotism Award Nomination Form, it asks for your recipient’s or their family’s Contact Name, Address, Phone Number and Email Address where we can ship the physical award. Please be sure to complete that information.
